Gianfranco Ferraccioli
Prof.G.F.Ferraccioli, MD , is Professor of Rheumatology at the School of Medicine, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, in Rome. He is the Chairman of the Divisions of Rheumatology and Internal Medicine-CIC, Director of the Institute of Rheumatology and Affine Sciences (IRSA), and Director of the Postgraduate School in Rheumatology. Major research interests at IRSA are : B cell subsets and function in chronic autoimmune diseases, TCR specificities in rheumatoid arthritis, Genetics in chronic autoimmune diseases, Biomarkers in chronic autoimmune diseases. Prof.Ferraccioli has been Member of the EULAR-ACR Committee that generated the new Classification Criteria for Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2010. He is Member of the Kunkel’s Society and the Author of 280 papers in Peer Review Journals, of several Chapters in Italian Internal Medicine Books, and of two patents.
