Frank Nestle

Frank O. Nestle holds the Mary Dunhill Chair of Cutaneous Medicine and Immunotherapy at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, King’s College London School of Medicine, London, UK. He is Director of the Clinical Research Facilities and member of the Executive Board of the Biomedical Research Centre at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation Trust and King’s College London. He was a Visiting Professor at the Mayo Clinic in 2000 and at Yale Medical School in 2005.
Professor Nestle has given over 250 scientific lectures at national and international conferences. He has published more than 100 scientific articles in publications such as Nature, Nature Medicine, The Lancet, and the Journal of Clinical Investigation. He serves as an editorial board member of the Journal of Clinical Investigation, the International Journal of Dermatology, Dermatology and the Expert Review of Dermatology. He is a member of nine national and international societies. He has received 14 prizes including the Alfred Marchionini Research Award at the 20th World Congress of Dermatology.
Research interests include the pathogenesis and immunotherapy of psoriasis, and the role and therapeutic modulation of dendritic cells in inflammatory and neoplastic skin diseases.
