Diane Home

Diane trained at Charing Cross Hospital, London which is where she worked on the Rheumatology Ward as a student nurse. After qualifying she worked in Orthopaedics and Cardiology after which she went back to the Rheumatology Ward and eventually became the Ward Sister.

Diane currently works at West Middlesex University Hospital as a Consultant Nurse and gained her MSc in Rheumatology Nursing from Keele University in 2002.

Her interests include ethnicity and health, self-management, culture & medication beliefs, and management of early Rheumatoid Arthritis. She is the Nurse Advisor for England to the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society. She also participated in the recent NRAS/ Expert Patient Programme pilot studies of the Rheumatoid Arthritis Self-management Programme as a course tutor.
